Wild Cubs Yoga with Wild Wolf's Yoga

Wild Cubs Yoga is a great way for children and teenagers to explore yoga and stories. The wonderful world of reading and being read to is honoured in Wolf Club sessions. Together we create yoga stories by breathing life into the written word through yoga postures, movement, flow and fun.  With this practice we exercise, play, connect more deeply with the inner self, and develop an intimate relationship with the natural world that surrounds us.

Through the magical world of yoga and story children are spirited away: a journey which guides them in discovering their own happily ever after.

About Jessica from Wild Wolf's Yoga

Jessica had been a primary school teacher for around ten years when she discovered yoga.  This began to change her way of thinking and feeling, and when began to introduce elements of yoga into the classroom she witnessed the positive effect this had on the children.

She then decided to take time off from teaching and spent a year and a half travelling around the world.  While in New York, Jessica and a friend had the idea of creating a space where children could make the connection between books and yoga.   Following her yin and yang teacher training in Thailand with Simon Low Jess went back to teaching on a part time basis and began teaching yoga to adults, as well as developing summer camps and clubs for young children.  Later she began weekly sessions for teenage girls, and saw the massive impact this had on the girl’s self-esteem and focus.

Jessica is now teaching yoga full-time in Bristol in her family's studio, Wild Wolf's Yoga, and has developed her own settled teaching style. She has come to recognise that whatever the age group, there is a constant thread of a journey and of a story unfolding.

Booking the classes

As long as your child is over 5 years you will be able to book them in to these sessions while you attend a yoga class or have a treatment.  These sessions are pre-bookable and need to be pre-paid and cost £6 per child per session.  Spaces are limited so we would advise pre-booking at the time you make your booking.

Please ensure children are collected promptly after the session has finished.

YAY! Young Adults Yoga (Age 11+) with Alicia Sinclair

When the mind is calm, it allows us to be our best because we then have space inside ourselves to explore and be creative, and reach our full potential.

This Yoga class is specifically for the needs of teenagers, teaching them yoga postures, breath awareness and meditation exercises.

The class is designed to give young people some time to connect with themselves and give them space to be present and calm and encourage balance in their life. It is so important for young people to look after themselves physically and emotionally and have the tools to do that, giving them increased confidence and independence.

Alicia make the classes fun, incorporating games into a class as often teenagers spend a lot of time having to concentrate at school and this gives them an opportunity to be playful and unwind but within a structured setting. This class is about giving teenagers time to rest their bodies and mind, time to connect with others in a non-competitive setting where you can be yourself in a safe and supportive space.
